The supplied materials present Bio Pro C® and Bio Pro S® as continuous and sequencing treatment configurations, respectively. The final arrangement requires an understanding of the wastewater, flow rate and discharge or reuse conditions.

Sequencing batch activated sludge biological treatment under aerobic conditions, alternating three treatment stages:

Filling and biological treatment of wastewater
Water clarification through physicochemical settling
Discharge of clarified and treated water

Continuous activated sludge biological treatment combining:

Aerobic treatment for carbon oxidation and nitrification
Anoxic treatment for denitrification

Sludge recirculation
